Girl Scout Patch Program

Girl Scout Patch Program

Are you a Girl Scout leader looking for an engaging, animal-centric program for your troop? The ARLGP offers a custom-designed patch program created with Girl Scouts of Maine called the “Animal Shelter Awareness” patch. This program includes a shelter tour, animal meet-and-greet, and educational activities for Girl Scouts to understand compassion, kindness, and animal advocacy.

*Badges need to be purchased from the GS of Maine store. We do not have them on site during your shelter visit.
*Please note that group size is limited to 20 people total (children & adults).

Fee: The fee for this program is $5-12 per Girl Scout, depending on the program chosen. (Fees directly support our mission and community program offerings.)

Register: To register your Girl Scouts for our patch program, please contact our humane education department at education@arlgp.org or (207) 517-3939.

Other ways to support our shelter

Many Girl Scout and Boy Scout groups will host community fundraisers to support our mission. Lemonade stands, donation drives, bottle drives, etc. are all impactful ways to help our pets and can be done in your neighborhood and community.
