Humane Helpers

Our Humane Helpers program offers youth in the community the opportunity to spend time at the ARLGP learning about and experiencing animal welfare hands-on.

Humane Helpers will be held on select Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-11:30am.  Programming during these sessions could include lessons of an age-appropriate animal welfare topic, animal meet-and-greet, shelter tour, service activities and arts/crafts projects.  Each session is unique in that it will depend on the needs of the shelter on any given day.

Humane Helpers is facilitated by an ARLGP humane educator. Fee is $25/attendee. Pre-registration is required, as spaces fill quickly.
