And, we make it easy with all the tools you need, below. You can download our letter-sized donation drive signs to post with collection bins and boxes. Print and distribute (or email!) our wish list PDF to co-workers, friends and family. We’ve also made a handy donation drive checklist with tips and tricks to help make sure your drive has tails wagging!
When you’re done, we want to make a big deal of your support! We’d love to welcome you to the ARLGP to drop off your donations, and take a picture to share on our social media. FAQ’s about donation drives
What is your most commonly needed item?
Wet cat food is always our top priority. We use more than 150 cans of cat food a day. And, our feline guests prefer brands easy to grab at the grocery or big-box store: Friskies, 9 Lives and Fancy Feast.
What else does the ARLGP need?
Other high priority items are dry food for cats and dogs, canned food for dogs, and pet toys.
We would like to provide you with gift certificates. What stores are most helpful?
Gift certificates are incredibly appreciated, as it allows us to purchase supplies dependent on current and urgent needs. Stores like Hannaford, Target or Walmart are useful, and cover a range of products used at the ARLGP. VISA gift cards are most useful and allow us to purchase supplies at the most appropriate store at the best price.
