8-year-old Sammy came here when his owners
had to move and he wasn’t
able to go along with them. Assessed as a Meet Your Match Purple Secret
Admirer, we’ve learned that while he’d do great sharing
his home with a dog - he’d much prefer keeping his distance from
small kids. He’s a sweet, gentle boy that doesn’t much
enjoy unexpected tugs that little hands might offer. During his assessment,
Sammy did
a lot of talking and investigating the room. In fact, he attempted
and succeeded in gaining access to the cabinets! This smart cookie
loves
affection and giving affection. He is a gentle giant that will try
to hide at first until he feels secure in his new surroundings. Sammy
will
need to have a place to retreat to until his confidence has grown.
Until then, you might find more than that box of crackers in your cabinet.
