This sweet girl came into the shelter when her owner of five years went into a nursing home. She was described by whoever brought her in as a ‘cuddly lap cat’, and she’s big and furry and warm, so that would be great at this time of year. She also likes to hold down her end of a sofa, is friendly to those who are familiar to her, and is affectionate and friendly with those she’s most familiar with. Sasha is independent and a little coy about her affections when she needs to get to know someone. Since she’s used to adults, Sasha will go home with grown-ups; perhaps a senior or two. When she’s nervous, Sasha makes an interesting grunting sound. When she wants to be loved, a head and ear scratch puts her over the edge and into heaven. She is used to being on the ground, and is not fond of being picked up. She’s playful, curious, self-possessed, and as multi-faceted as the colors in her coat. Patient friends that will let her explore her new surroundings and allow her to feel at home before asking her for her (eventual) undying affection will complete Sasha’s world. download adopter survey donate to help the animals |
